Yaar Nee

Yaar Nee? is a 1966 Indian Tamil-language psychological thriller film directed by Sathyam and produced by P. S. Veerappa.

The film stars Jaishankar and Jayalalitha, and it is a remake of the Hindi film Woh Kaun Thi? (1964).

On a rainy night, Dr. Anand gives a lift to a mysterious woman who introduces herself as "No one". As they drive, strange occurrences happen, including eerie car malfunctions and unexplained events.

The truth behind the haunting is eventually revealed to be much different from what Dr. Anand initially believed.

Released on 14 April 1966, Yaar Nee? was a box office success, with Jayalalithaa winning the Madras Filmfans Association Award for Best Actress.
