Veerappu is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by Badri in his directorial debut.
The film stars Sundar C as Pulippandi, a local rowdy and son of math teacher Vedhukannu (Prakash Raj), who wants his son to become a brilliant mathematician. The movie is a remake of the Malayalam film Spadikam (1995) but draws its core plot from Narasimham (2000).
The film features Gopika, Vivek, and Santhanam in key roles. D. Imman composed the music for Veerappu, while Mu. Kasi Vishwanathan handled editing.
Shot on location at Thirunelveli, the scene where Sundar gets arrested and paraded through streets is a notable moment in the film.
The movie received positive reviews from critics, with Sify praising it as a "clean family entertainer with a nice message" worth watching.
