Synopsis
Veeranna is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by B. Kalanithi.
The film stars Napoleon, Anamika, Preethi Varma, and Sheela in key roles.
Mariappan (Napoleon) is the faithful servant of Rajeshwari (Sheela), who spreads terror among the villagers. His son Veeranna (Napoleon), a military officer, returns to his village and tries to be quieter than before. He falls in love with Vennila and saves Aishwarya (Preethi Varma) from drowning.
Veeranna files a complaint against Rajeshwari's company for polluting the river, leading to an unexpected turn of events that forms the crux of the story.
The film was released on 18 December 2005.
