Achuvettante Veedu is a 1987 Indian drama film written and directed by Balachandra Menon.
The story revolves around Achuthankutty Nair, his wife Rugmini, and their two daughters, Aswathy and Karthi. The plot details Achuthan's aspirations to build his own house while living in a rented apartment in Trivandrum, where he faces daily disturbances caused by a men's hostel resident named Vipin.
The film stars Nedumudi Venu as Achuthankutty Nair and Balachandra Menon himself. Rohini Hattangadi also features in the cast alongside another performer credited simply as 'Rohini'. The music was composed by Vidyadharan, with background score by Mohan Sithara.
