Vazhkai Oppandham (The Contract of Life) is a 1959 Indian Tamil-language comedy drama film produced and directed by K. V. Reddy.
The lead roles feature Akkineni Nageswara Rao as Krishnan and Jamuna as Rukmini, with supporting actors including Rajasulochana, M. N. Nambiar, T. P. Muthulakshmi, and K. Sarangapani. The character Radha is portrayed by Rajasulochana.
The music for the film was composed by Ghantasala, with Thanjai N. Ramaiah Dass credited for some of the lyrics as well as providing a notable cameo appearance as a socialist leader.
The film was released on 4 September 1959 after being initially scheduled much earlier. It received mixed reviews upon release, including criticism regarding its play-like feel from Kanthan of Kalki magazine.
