Vasanthathil Oru Naal is a 1982 Indian Tamil-language film directed by A. C. Tirulokchandar and produced by S. Rangarajan.
The film stars Sivaji Ganesan and Sripriya, and is a remake of the 1975 Hindi film Mausam.
The story follows Rajasekaran, who falls in love with Raji but is unable to fulfill his promise to marry her. Years later, he meets Neela, Raji's daughter, at a brothel, where she was being forced into prostitution. He buys her from the brothel and tries to reform her.
As Neela's past is revealed, it becomes clear that Raji was subjected to abuse and trauma, leading to her death. The film explores themes of love, loss, and redemption as Rajasekaran tries to make amends for his past mistakes.
