Synopsis
Vasantha Vaasal is a 1996 Indian Tamil-language romantic action film directed by M.R.
The movie stars Vijay and Swathi, with Mansoor Ali Khan, Vadivelu, and Kovai Sarala in supporting roles.
Produced by M.R., the film follows the story of Vijay, who aspires to become an actor, and Divya, whose uncle Ganesh is forcing her to act despite her academic ambitions. The two eventually fall in love, but their relationship is threatened by Ganesh's interference.
The movie was originally scheduled for release in 1995 but was delayed until March 1996. It collected ₹1.30 crore at the box office, made on a budget of ₹20 lakh, and was declared a success.
