Synopsis
Vaitheeswaran is a 2008 Indian Tamil language fantasy action film written and directed by R. K. Vidyadharan.
The film stars Sarath Kumar, Meghna Naidu, and Pooja Gandhi, with supporting roles played by Sayaji Shinde, Riyaz Khan, Vijayakumar, Santhanam, and Vinaya Prasad.
The movie follows the story of a young boy named Saravanan, who is killed by an aspiring politician, Dhanasekaran. His mother's attempt to commit suicide is stopped by a sage, who prophesies that her son will be reincarnated.
Thirty years later, the mother's wait catches the attention of the public, and Dr. Bala wishes to treat her, while Dhanasekharan, now a politician, sees Saravanan's arrival as an opportunity to gain power.
The film was released on 14 March 2008 and features music composed by Srikanth Deva.
