Synopsis
Vaira Nenjam is a 1975 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by C. V. Sridhar.
The plot revolves around a stolen diamond and involves characters seeking revenge after being betrayed.
Key figures include Ananth (Sivaji Ganesan), Geetha (Padmapriya), Shankar (R. Muthuraman) and Madhan (K. Balaji).
A police inspector, Dharmalingam (Dhulipala), is also a central character.

It is a remake of Sridhar's own 1973 Hindi film Gehri Chaal.

Production on the Tamil version progressed after the failure of Sridhar's previous directorial venture Alaigal in 1973.
The film was part of an effort to create a Tamil-Hindi bilingual titled "Gehri Chaal".
C. I. D. Sakunthala as Shoba and Sachu as Shanthi are featured in the movie.
