Synopsis

Thangavelu, a newly appointed police sub-inspector, finds himself entangled in his family's personal and professional life when his uncle, Saaraya Kadai Kounder, is implicated in illicit liquor manufacturing. The situation escalates into a bitter feud between their families after Thangavelu arrests his nephew Periyasamy.
A local matchmaker arranges meetings for both men with Kalyani from Dindigul, who ultimately chooses Thangavelu as her suitor. The film follows the complex web of relationships and loyalties that Thangavelu must navigate in his role as a law enforcement officer.
