Vaanmathi

Vaanmathi is a 1996 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Agathiyan and starring Ajith Kumar and Swathi.

The film tells the story of Krishna, a middle-class young man who falls in love with Vaanmathi, the daughter of a wealthy businesswoman. Despite their different financial backgrounds, they eventually overcome obstacles to be together.

Vaanmathi portrays the transformation of hatred into love between two young people from contrasting social classes. The film was released on January 12, 1996, and became a commercial success.
