Vaanam

Vaanam is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language action drama film written and directed by Krish.

The film features five different stories of five different characters: Cable Raja (Simbu), Saroja (Anushka), Bharath Chakravarthy (Bharath), Prakash Raj, and Zara (Sonia).

Each character has a unique story that runs in parallel until they meet at a private hospital on New Year's Eve. The hospital is attacked by terrorists, leading to an intertwining of their stories.

The film stars Silambarasan TR, Bharath, Prakash Raj, Anushka Shetty, Santhanam, Sonia Agarwal, and Saranya Ponvannan in ensemble roles.

Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the score and soundtrack, while Nirav Shah handled cinematography and Anthony edited the film. The movie was produced by VTV Ganesh and R. Ganesh, and distributed by Cloud Nine Movies.

Vaanam received mostly positive reviews and was a box-office success upon its release on April 29, 2011.
