Uzhaikkum Karangal is a 1976 Indian Tamil-language film directed by K. Shankar and written by Nanjil Ki. Manogaran.
The film stars M. G. Ramachandran, Latha, and Bhavani, and was released on May 23, 1976.
The story follows Rangan, a poor man who finds employment in the house of Akkilandham. He falls in love with Muthamma after some initial tiff, but his name is later blamed for seducing Gowri, the widowed daughter of Akkilandam, who has been manipulated by Kabali.
Gowri's father believes Rangan to be the culprit and turns him down as a suitor. However, Muthamma supports Rangan, and he eventually traces and finds Kabali, making him confess and marrying him off to Gowri to clear his name.
The music for the film was composed by M. S. Viswanathan.
