Uyarndha Manithan is a 1968 Indian Tamil-language drama film produced by AVM Productions.
The lead roles feature Sivaji Ganesan and Sowcar Janaki, with Major Sundarrajan, S. A. Ashokan, Vanisri, and Sivakumar playing significant supporting parts.
Music was composed by M. S. Viswanathan, with lyrics penned by Vaali for the songs.
The plot centers on a wealthy industrialist's son who secretly marries the daughter of his family estate's accountant. The story takes a tragic turn when the father discovers their union and subsequently burns down the estate while his pregnant grandson-in-law is inside.
The film was directed by Krishnan–Panju and written by Javar Seetharaman, and it was released on 29 November 1968.
