Synopsis
Uthama Raasa is a 1993 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Raj Kapoor.
The film stars Prabhu, Khushbu, Radha Ravi and Raja, with Goundamani, Senthil, Vaishnavi, Manorama, S. N. Lakshmi, and Charle in supporting roles.
Released on 23 April 1993, the movie tells the story of a long-standing feud between Chinnaiya and Parama Thevar that has not eased up in eighteen years.
The plot revolves around Chinnaiya's unrequited love for his cousin Meenakshi alias Meenu, who is also loved by Marudhu, the son of Parama Thevar. Mangai, Parama Thevar's daughter, witnesses a traumatic event from her teenage years that affects her marriage prospects.
