Urimai Oonjaladugiradhu is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by Visu.
The film stars Visu alongside Ramesh Aravind, Major Sundarrajan, Kishmu, Kasthuri, Vadivukkarasi, and Sangeetha.
The movie follows the story of Shanmugam and his wife Vadivu, who adopt a baby girl named Uma after her father, Major Sundarrajan, decides to give her away due to believing it impossible to raise her without a mother following his wife's death during childbirth.
As they raise Uma as their eldest daughter, the family keeps the secret of her true parentage from their own children. The film also introduces Gomathi, who is revealed as the younger sister of both Sundarrajan and Shanmugam, though she was expelled from their household long before the events depicted in the film.
The movie was released on August 14, 1992, but ultimately failed commercially.
