Synopsis
Unnai Thedi is a 1999 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by Sundar C.
The film stars Ajith Kumar and debutant Malavika, alongside an ensemble supporting cast including Karan, Vivek, Sivakumar, and Srividya.
Released on 5 February 1999, the film became a box-office hit. It was later dubbed and released in Telugu as Prematho Pilicha on 24 December 1999.
The story follows Raghupathy, who falls in love with Malavika after meeting her in New Zealand. Circumstances force them to separate before exchanging contact information. Back home, Raghupathy discovers a surprising family connection through his mother Saradha.
