Synopsis
Unakkaga Piranthen is a 1992 Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Balu Anand and produced by Vivekananda Pictures.
The movie stars Prashanth as Krishnan and Mohini as Radha, a Sri Lankan refugee who finds shelter in an Indian camp and falls in love with the local man after he rescues her from harassment.
When refugees are forced to return to Sri Lanka, they are separated. Unable to part, Krishnan swims across but is mistaken for a terrorist upon reaching shore and is arrested; he subsequently escapes to find Radha.
The film was released on May 16, 1992, and features music composed by Deva.
