Raja, a rich person from the United States, returns to India and discovers that many people call him by different names. He meets Quarter Govindan, another lookalike who is a jobless man seeking to earn money for his sister's life. Raja requests Quarter Govindan to pretend like him, allowing him to find his enemies.
As Quarter Govindan pretends to be Raja, he starts to develop feelings for Raja's cousin Renu, who becomes happy with the attention. The film follows the comedic and action-packed journey of Raja and Quarter Govindan as they navigate their relationships and confront their enemies.
The soundtrack was composed by R. D. Burman, while the background music was also created by him.
