Synopsis
Thunive Thunai is a 1976 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by S.P. Muthuraman and written by Panchu Arunachalam.
The film stars Jaishankar, Jayaprabha, and Rajasulochana, with S.A. Ashokan, Suruli Rajan, and S.V. Ramadas in supporting roles.
CID officer Vijaykumar is sent to the village of Ponvayal following police inquiries regarding an ongoing mystery there. During his train journey, he encounters a stranger who warns him against entering Ponvayal due to its dangerous nature and the wrath of its goddess.
The film was released on April 13, 1976, and proved to be a box office success.
