Thunai

Thunai is a 1982 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Durai and produced by himself. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Saritha, M. G. Chakrapani, and Suresh.

The story revolves around Dasaratharaman, an easy-going widower with a grown son, Raghuraman. He befriends nearly everyone he meets, including a poor family consisting of a widowed mother and several children who reside in the house near his home. The film follows their lives as they navigate love, friendship, and financial struggles.
