Synopsis
Thooya Ullam is a 1961 Telugu-language film produced by D. Madhusudhana Rao under the Annapurna Pictures banner and directed by Adurthi Subba Rao.
The film stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Savitri, with music composed by Pendyala Nageswara Rao.
Thooya Ullam is a Tamil-language adaptation of the same story, also titled Thooya Ullam, meaning "Pure Heart".
The film's plot revolves around Rao Bahadur Venkataramaiah and his family, including his wife Kanakadurga and their adopted daughter Suguna. As Suguna grows up, she becomes a successful medico and falls in love with Chandram, Vengalappa's nephew.
