Thondan is a 1995 Indian Tamil-language political drama film directed by Karvannan.
The film stars Murali and Rohini, with Anandaraj, Manivannan, Srividya, Vinodhini, Vadivukkarasi, Gnanavel, and S. Ramadoss playing supporting roles.
It tells the story of Jeeva (Murali), an auto-driver who struggles with an inferiority complex due to his father's early forced labor, and his childhood friend Ilavenil (Anandaraj), a conscientious police officer.
The film also features Periyanayagam (Gnanavel), a company owner employing child labor and involved in illegal business, who receives support from the Minister (Manivannan).
Thondan was released on 10 March 1995.
