Thiruttu Payale

Thiruttu Payale is a 2006 Indian Tamil-language black comedy thriller film written and directed by Susi Ganesan.

The film stars Jeevan and Sonia Agarwal, with Abbas, Malavika, Vivek, Manoj K. Jayan, Gaayathri, and Charle in supporting roles.

Manickam, an unruly man, captures on video an illicit affair between a rich married woman and her lover, starting a blackmailing scheme. The woman attempts to outsmart him.

The music was composed by Bharadwaj, and the film was a box office success. It was remade in Hindi as Shortcut Romeo (2013) and in Telugu and Kannada as Mr. Rascal and Aadu Aata Aadu respectively. A spiritual successor Thiruttu Payale 2 was released in 2017.
