Synopsis
Thirupaachi is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language masala film directed by Perarasu and produced by R. B. Choudary under Super Good Films.
The film stars Vijay, alongside Trisha, Mallika, J. Livingston, Pasupathy, Benjamin, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Vaiyapuri and Manoj K. Jayan.
Perarasu made his directorial debut with this movie, which was released on 14 January 2005.
The music for the film was composed by Dhina, who jointly composed one song each with Devi Sri Prasad and Mani Sharma.
The cinematography and editing were handled by S. Saravanan and V. Jaishankar, respectively.
The story follows Sivagiri alias Giri, a bladesmith in a remote village near Thirupaachi, as he searches for a groom for his sister Karpagam and becomes embroiled in a battle against rowdies and anti-socials in Chennai.
