Thirumbi Paar (1953) is an Indian Tamil-language film directed by T. R. Sundaram and produced by Modern Theatres.
The film stars Sivaji Ganesan as Parandhaman, a womaniser, alongside P. V. Narasimha Bharathi, Pandari Bai, Krishna Kumari, Girija, and T. P. Muthulakshmi in key roles.
Parandhaman is a womaniser who seduces a mute girl married to an older man, Punyakodi, when her husband is absent. He continues this behaviour with other women, including his sister Poomalai.
The film features political satire as its dialogue targets the Indian National Congress party, which was ruling at the time of its release.
