Synopsis
Thavam is a 2007 Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Sakthi Paramesh and produced by Arjun.
The film stars Arun Vijay and Vandana Gupta in the lead roles, with Vadivelu, Janagaraj, and Kalairani playing supporting roles.
It follows the story of Sumathi and Subramaniam, two strangers who meet at a suicide point in Chennai. Both are initially planning to end their lives, but are rescued by a house-owner Mani. As their lives take a turn for the better, they land good jobs and get married, only to flee their respective wedding halls.
The film was released on 5 October 2007 and features music composed by D. Imman.
