Thangaikku Oru Thalattu is a 1990 Indian Tamil language film directed by K. S. Madhangan.
The film stars Arjun Sarja as Gopi, a poor youth living with his mother and uncle Baba, and Seetha as Prakash, whose wife Janaki resembles an innocent young woman named Priya. The story revolves around J. M. J., a businessman who cheats and kills wealthy individuals, and an honest journalist named Arun who is killed by J. M. J.'s henchmen.
Prakash mistakenly arrests Priya, thinking she's a prostitute, but later learns of her true identity and apologizes. Priya becomes a journalist like her brother Prakash and investigates J. M. J., aided by Prakash. Janaki gets married but tragically dies in a car accident along with her husband.
Prakash attempts to arrest the responsible party for Janaki's death, but due to a finance minister being kidnapped, he is forced to release him. In the end, Prakash manages to save the finance minister without having released his sister's killer related to Janaki's fate.
The film was released on 23 November 1990 and features Arjun Sarja and Seetha in lead roles.
