Synopsis
Thanga Manasukaran is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Rajavarman in his directorial debut.
The movie stars Murali and Sivaranjani, with supporting appearances by Goundamani and Senthil.
A musician named Murugesh arrives in a village during the Aadi month to perform as part of a festival organized by the village head. He is assigned to play until the festival concludes.
The story involves Chellakili, the daughter of the village head, who waits for her missing lover (revealed later to be Murugesh himself). Her cousin Duraipandi harbours intentions to marry Chellakili.
Romantic subplots develop between members of Murugesh's music troupe and local women in the village.
The film was released on 20 March 1992.
