Synopsis
Thambikottai is a 2011 Indian romantic action comedy film directed by R. Ammu Ramesh and produced by R. K. Suresh.

Azhagiri (Narain) is a college student who goes on an NSS field trip to Thambikkotai, where he falls in love with Kanaga (Poonam Bajwa), the daughter of Amirthalingam (Rajendran), a local goon. Azhagiri's sister Shanmughapriya (Meena) is his only sibling and caregiver after their parents' death.
The film explores themes of love, family, and loyalty in the face of adversity, as Azhagiri navigates his relationships with Kanaga and her family while also confronting the challenges posed by Amirthalingam's criminal activities.
