Synopsis
Thamarai is a 1994 Indian Tamil language drama film directed and produced by K. K. Rajsirpy.
The film stars Napoleon, Rupini, and Rohini, and was released on August 19, 1994.
The story revolves around the prophecy that the Kali temple must be shifted from its current location to the Madurai Veeran temple's place, causing tension between the two communities in the village.
Thamarai, played by Napoleon, returns from jail to help the Madurai Veeran community against the ruthless village chief Subbarayan (Rajesh).
The film explores the past relationships and conflicts between Thamarai and Subbarayan, as well as Thamarai's love interests with Poogodai and Sarasu.
