Thalattu Padava is a 1990 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by R. Sundarrajan and produced by A. S. Ibrahim Rowther.
The film stars Parthiban, Rupini, and Khushbu, and was released on September 5, 1990.
The story revolves around Raja, a graduate who works as a mechanic until he finds an appropriate job in Delhi. He misses the train due to Narmadha, a poor idli seller, and must wait four days for the next train. As they spend more time together, Raja and Narmadha fall in love.
When Raja returns home, his mother Thayamma becomes mute, and he works as the car driver of a rich man Kandhasamy. Narmadha teases him until she discovers his education and falls in love with him.
The music for the film was composed by Ilaiyaraaja, with notable songs including "Odai Kuyil" and "Ne".
