Thalaimurai is a 1998 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Saravana Pandian and produced by M. K. Hari Shankar.
The film stars director K. S. Adhiyaman in the leading role, along with Rajkiran, Kanaka, Bhanupriya, Revathi, and Rajkapoor in supporting roles.
Revathi received the Tamil Nadu State Film Award Special Prize for Best Actress for her performance in the film.
The movie tells the story of Pandithurai (Raj Kiran) and Naachchiyaar (Revathi), a respectable couple whose life is turned upside down when Naachchiyaa conceives after seven long years of marriage. She gives birth to a stillborn baby, and Pandithurai replaces it with an illegitimate child born to Panchavarnam (Bhanupriya) in the same hospital.
