Thai Veedu (Mother's House) is a 1983 Indian Tamil-language masala film directed by R. Thyagarajan.
The film stars Major Sundarrajan as Rajasekaran, Rajnikanth as Raju, Anita Raj as Anita, and Thengai Srinivasan as Nagalingam.
Released on April 14, 1983, it was simultaneously produced in Hindi under the title Jeet Hamaari with Rajnikanth reprising his role.
The film follows the story of Raju, an orphan raised by a former thief who possesses expert car theft skills, and Anita, his love interest. Meanwhile, Rajasekaran owns an antique sword that serves as the key to a hidden treasure.
Nagalingam attempts multiple times to steal this sword from Rajasekaran but fails; Anand saves Rajasekaran once and becomes his trusted associate in protecting it.
