Swapna Sundari is a 1950 Indian Telugu-language fantasy swashbuckler film produced and directed by Ghantasala Balaramayya under the Pratibha Productions banner.
The film stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Anjali Devi, with music jointly composed by C. R. Subburaman and Ghantasala.
Based on Kasi Majilee Kathalu, the movie tells the story of a warrior named Prabhu who dreams of a beautiful girl named Swapna Sundari, an angel who lands on earth to be with him after being seized by a wizard Pittala Rayudu.
The film was simultaneously dubbed in Tamil with the same name and features a plot that follows Prabhu's adventures as he tries to possess his dream girl, while also encountering a tribal queen who falls for him.
