Synopsis
Suriya Paarvai is a 1999 Indian Tamil-language action crime film directed by Jagan in his directorial debut.
The film stars Arjun and newcomer Pooja, and was released on 14 January 1999.
The story follows Vijay, a hitman who works for Sundaramoorthy, and Pooja, a young girl whose family is killed by a corrupt police officer. Pooja tries to befriend Vijay, but he is initially uninterested, until she compels him to teach her his skills as a hitman.
The film is an unauthorized remake of the 1994 French film Léon: The Professional.
