Sundara Purushan is a 1996 Indian Tamil-language comedy drama film directed by Sabapathy Dekshinamurthy.
The film stars Livingston and Rambha, with Livingston also writing the story and screenplay for the film.
The movie revolves around Ganesan's love for his childhood sweetheart Valli, which remains unchanged even after 17 years. When he returns home to win her over, he discovers that she is already in a relationship with someone else. His brother implicates the girl's lover in a murder and sends him to jail.
The film deals with the serious issue of unwilling marriages but with a comical undertone, and was released on 12 July 1996. It was later remade in Telugu as Andala Ramudu (2006).
