Synopsis
Sri Aandal is a 1948 Tamil-language Hindu mythological film directed by Velsamy Kavi.
The main stars of the film are U. R. Jeevarathnam as Andal and P. S. Govindan in the role of Kannan.
Produced by Salem Surya Movies, a subsidiary of Modern Theatres, the film features cinematography by J. G. Vijayam for his debut, editing by G. Srihari, and dialogues written by Madhivannan.
The cast also includes Vidwan Sreenivasan as Vishnuchithan, S. D. Subbaiah, G. Sowdhamani, Kali N. Rathnam, S. Subbulakshmi, 'Kumari' Selvam, P. S. Gnanam, P. K. Madhavan, and V. M. Ezhumalai.
