Sowbhagyavathi is a 1939 Tamil-language film directed by Prem Chetna and produced by Lakshmi Film Company.
The film features actor Ramkumar in the lead role as Detective Govindan, who also starred in the 1936 film Chandrakantha. The screenplay and dialogues were written by Ramkumar based on his story 'Aayiram Mugam'.
The music was composed by Govindarajulu with lyrics by L. Nanjappa Chetty, and all songs performed by the actors themselves.
