Soppu Seeppu Kannadi is a 1968 Indian Tamil-language comedy film directed by Thirumalai–Mahalingam and produced by Karthikeya Films.
The film stars Nagesh and Vijaya Nirmala, and follows the story of Madhusudhanan, the eldest son of a rich respectable family who is compelled to get married. After leaving his home to escape marriage torture, he gets caught with another boy on a train and both are thrown off. They then rescue a man from drowning in the river while fishing, leading to them finding jobs at a cosmetic company.
Madhu performs his best to achieve a target of ₹5,000, as he tries to find employment on his own despite not needing it due to his family background.
