Sirikkadhey is a 1939 Indian Tamil-language anthology film produced by S. S. Vasan under Sri Ranjani Pictures. The film consists of five short comedy films: Adangapidari, Malai Kannan, Yama Vadhanai, Poli Samiyar, and Puli Vettai.
Widely recognised as the first anthology film in India, Sirikkadhey was released on 23 December 1939 and became a major commercial success. The main cast includes Kamal Haasan, S. S. Vasan, T. R. Ramachandran, and M. G. Ramachandran.
The film features a mix of comedic storylines, including the misadventures of a man with nyctalopia on his way to visit his in-laws, and the clever plan of a carpenter's wife to outsmart a bearded swami who lusts for her.
