Silk Silk Silk is a 1983 Indian Tamil-language masala film directed by Y. V. Gopikrishnan and written by Selvakumar.
The film stars Smitha, Bhanu Chander, and Raghuvaran, and was released on January 14, 1983.
The plot revolves around a group of smugglers: Shah, Johnny, Viji, and Balram. They steal diamonds intending to sell them on the black market. Shah flees with the loot to Goa planning to sell it there but is subsequently murdered in his hotel room; the diamonds go missing during this event.
CBI officer Nirmal and police officer Ashok join forces to investigate the murder. Their primary clue is a witness who saw a young woman enter Shah's room just before the incident. Nirmal recognises this woman as Priya, an ex-girlfriend, but deliberately conceals his connection to her.
The investigation leads them to search for Priya. Meanwhile, they encounter Meena, another young woman who bears a resemblance to Priya. Meena is revealed to be a poor fisherwoman from an alcoholic father's household. Ashok mistakenly arrests Meena based on this resemblance, assuming she was involved in Shah's murder.
