Silambattam is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language action comedy film directed by S. Saravanan and starring Silambarasan in a dual role as a father and son.
The film follows Vichu, a young priest raised by his maternal grandfather, who is forced to reveal his true identity after an unruly incident occurs at the temple premises.
Prabhu, Sneha, Sana Khan, Kishore, Santhanam, Nedumudi Venu, Ponvannan, and Premji Amaren play lead and supporting roles in the film. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the background score and soundtrack for Silambattam.
