Shanthi is a 1965 Indian Tamil-language film directed by T. R. Ramanna and produced by himself. The film stars M. G. Ramachandran, Sowcar Janaki, and K. R. Vijaya.
The movie tells the story of Raja, an accomplished sportsman who falls in love with Shanti at first sight after meeting her father Masilamani in an accident. Raja wins a championship, meets two sisters Rama and Uma, and becomes acquainted with their wealthy father G.R. Pillai's household where Shanti works as a servant.
As the story unfolds, Balu, Raja's young brother, falls in love with one of the sisters, Uma. The film explores themes of love, family, and social class.
