Shantha Sakkubai is a 1939 Tamil-language Indian film directed by Sundar Rao Nadkarni.
The movie stars K. Aswathamma, Banni Bai, K. Sarangapani, Kothamangalam Seenu, and Kothamangalam Subbu in the main roles.
The plot revolves around Sakku Bai, a devotee of Lord Krishna from Pandarpur, who is married to an innocent man referred to as his 'mama's boy'. Her mother-in-law mistreats her. In the story, Lord Krishna appears and assists his devotee in some scenes by taking on Sakku Bai's form to perform household tasks.
The film was produced under the banner Rayal Talkies Distributors Ltd., with A. A. Somayajulu and Kothamangalam Subbu writing the dialogues based on a Marathi folk tale. Jiten Banerji handled the cinematography, while Sundar Rao Nadkarni edited the film. F. Nagoor and H. Shantha were responsible for the art direction.
