Senthamizh Selvan is a 1994 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by Manoj Kumar and starring Prashanth and Madhoo.
The film tells the story of two best friends, Vijay Bhoopathy (Prashanth) and Sundarapandian, who have different beliefs. Their children, Selvan and Vaidegi, fall in love against their wishes, leading to a bitter feud between the families.
When Vijayakumar's brother-in-law Muthukalai is murdered, his daughter Meenakshi vows to marry Selvan, further escalating tensions between the two families. After Bhoopathy's murder, Selvan returns to the village and tries to care for his mentally affected mother, while Sundarapandian attempts to kill him.
The film features music composed by M. S. Viswanathan and Ilaiyaraaja, and was released on August 12, 1994.
