Seevalaperi Pandi is a 1994 Indian Tamil-language biographical crime action film directed by Pratap Pothen and written by K. Rajeshwar.
The film is based on the life of the Indian criminal Seevalaperi Pandi, who seeks revenge against those who wronged him after being wrongly accused and sentenced to death.
Pandi, a brave man, lives with his wife Velammal, mother, and elder brother Malayandi. He is hired as the bodyguard of Grams, a village leader who has made many enemies among the villagers due to his wrong judgments.
With the help of Nayanar, Sivankalai, Karuppaiah, Mookaiah, and Oochandi, Pandi plots to kill Grams. However, they immediately surrender after committing the crime. At the trial, Pandi's associates are acquitted, while he is sentenced to death.
The film was released on June 24, 1994, and marked a turning point in the career of lead actor Napoleon.
