Synopsis
Saravana is a 2006 Indian Tamil-language action romance film directed by K. S. Ravikumar.
The film stars Silambarasan, Jyothika, Five Star Krishna, Vivek, and Prakash Raj, and was produced by Deivanai Movies with Srikanth Deva composing the soundtrack.
The movie is a remake of the 2005 Telugu film Bhadra. It follows Saravana, a college student who returns home to meet his friend Sadhana, whom he falls in love with after seeing her on a video tape studying in London.
Saravana's family initially rejects Sadhana due to her background, but eventually accepts and supports her. As Saravana tries to help Sadhana return to London, he must also confront the gang that killed her brother and his wife.
The film was released on January 14, 2006, coinciding with Pongal and became a commercial success at the box office.
