Synopsis
Santosha Kanavugal is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language film directed by R. C. Sakthi.
The story revolves around Pandian falling in love with Kalyani, but upon learning he has a fatal illness, he persuades his best friend Kannan to marry her instead.
The main cast includes Vijayakanth as Pandian and Nalini as Kalyani, along with Rajesh portraying Kannan and Sathyaraj playing the villainous role. Other actors in the film are Dheepa (as Gowri), V. S. Raghavan (Kalyani's father), Vadivukkarasi (Kalyani's mother), Chinni Jayanth, and Silk Smitha.
The soundtrack for the movie was composed by Shyam.
The film was released on 1 February 1985 and received a negative review from Kalki.
