Sandhya Ragam is a 1989 Tamil-language drama film produced, written and directed by Balu Mahendra.
The black-and-white movie stars Chokkalinga Bhagavathar as an elderly man who leaves his village after his wife's death to live with his nephew Vasu, played by Oviyar Veera Santhanam. Archana and Baby Rajalakshmi appear in supporting roles.
The film explores the challenges of old age imposed upon a younger family member, shot and edited by Mahendra himself on a shoestring budget.
At the 37th National Film Awards, it won the Award for Best Film on Family Welfare (1990).
